A 130 mile journey which would have taken around 3 hours had it not been for a half hour wait at Slovenian border control and a further delay when we took the wrong turning near Ljubljana. Necessitating an unplanned visit around the city&#8217;s inner ring road!<\/p>\n<p>First impressions of Bled &#8211; what&#8217;s happened to the HOT weather. Without moaning too much, we&#8217;ve also become accustomed to fully serviced pitches and whilst we have a huge plot here, it was unfamiliar territory to manually fill the water barrel and find a sneaky place to offload the grey waste.<\/p>\n<p>Before packing up yesterday we visited a couple of small villages on the island of Krk.<\/p>\n<p>First was Stara Baska, a remote outpost on the southern side of the island of Krk. It&#8217;s called Camping Skrila, Skara Baska. If we were here much longer it could be nice to chill here for a week or two!<\/p>\n<p>Next was a trip to the old hilltop village of Vrbnik which is perched 50m up on a limestone outcrop.
