Chatsworth House CC site is one of the most popular\u00a0in the country. <\/span><\/p>\n

Slightly odd entrance sign welcoming everyone to Chatsworth. Well, almost everyone!<\/span><\/p>\n

We had managed to book ourselves over a week here for the August Bank holiday weekend so the booking system worked out for us just fine. Well this year at least.<\/p>\n

The campsite is situated beside the River Derwent, next to Chatsworth House and about 20 minutes walk from the town of Baslow which boasts a number of Public Houses, at least one hotel, a cafe and Italian restaurant.<\/p>\n

The setting is stunning and the facilities the best we have encountered so far in Europe.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Our fully serviced pitch included fresh water, electricity, TV point, grey waste and even it’s own chemical toilet disposal point.<\/p>\n

The latter item seemed a little gratuitous but was appreciated nevertheless.<\/p>\n
